What is a Sport Fury III, or a Sports Fury?

I had a 1958 Savoy 2 door hardtop as a daily driver for a while about 15 years ago. There are quite a few around but most have been upgraded which I would rather see than another Christine clone. My car has been garaged since 1967 so the trim still looks new. I think that the stainless pieces...

What is a Sport Fury III, or a Sports Fury?

The 1959 Plymouth had a Sport Fury model even though it did not say it anywhere on the car. My older brother bought and ordered a brand new 1959 Sport Fury convertible in I think Feb. of 59. It had the 361 engine with 305 hp and a torqueflite transmission. It came with a little plaque that said...

What is a Sport Fury III, or a Sports Fury?

A Fury III is just what it says it is. There were Sport Furys, but not I, II or III.

    Dragging brakes

Is it possible the rod on the back of the master cylinder is too long and keeping pressure on the calipers?

1972 dodge polara custom new owner

What Big-John said about dying the door panels and rear seat is good advice. That stuff works really well. It's a nice car and whatever you do to it will be an improvement. I think if you do some searching you should be able to get some of the original parts you need.

1972 dodge polara custom new owner

I would go back to chrome bumpers and maybe steel rims with dog dish hub caps. If it needs tires, white letters would look good too.

    Brought Home A 69 Monaco

Nice car. The original color is nice. Should be good to cruise in when you get it sorted out.

    $1500 Fury 1 near me

Most cars of the fifties with a manual transmission were three on the tree. Easy to shift and mostly trouble free. Nice car. Clean it up and use it.

    My unexpected Hurst 300 Find

Nice car. I saw one of these at Chryslers at Carlisle a few years back, but it was not in this nice of condition. Does this have the 375 hp 440?

    71 New Yorker Coupe

Is the roof okay? It looks like there is some rust there. It's good you got it back so now it will get the attention it needs.

1973 Dodge Polara Spring Special Vinyl Top

E bodies are much better looking without a vinyl top, and I think the same is true with the Chargers and most of the other Mopar muscle cars. I think the vinyl tops seem to work on the larger luxury yachts.

What should I do with my '69 Fury III?

Sell it and use the money towards something you like.

Chrysler colors of 1973, pick your favorite

B5 True Blue is still my favorite. I have it on a 72 Barracuda. The dark blue would be my second choice.

    Nick's Hoard

I'm curious, in the pictures of the first car you listed, is that rust covering the Polara's body or mold? It almost looks like a lot of it would wash off. If that is the case, it might not be that bad. Still, the more I look at them I have to agree that most are worthless except for maybe a few...

    Nick's Hoard

You could buy a cuda project car and it would be cheaper than trying to do anything with the one they have. I think it is wishful thinking. From the looks of it you would have to take it away in pieces. It does look like some of the large cars could be restored.

    Nick's Hoard

Those poor cars. As an E body owner, I hate to see them that way. I would agree that $500 per car would be tops. Some are not worth that. The owner wants to keep that Barracuda. Why?
