    Smoke issues

Oddly, went out today, no smoke, anytime. But yesterday was enough of a drive to get it nice and warm and clear out the cylinders. I'm starting to think valve seal. I'm thinking it's caused by the short run to get in and out of the garage is putting enough oil in the head to flow over the top...

    Smoke issues

So to set the stage, the Monaco has the factory original engine, and it's never been cracked open out side of the timing chain and oil pan off to clean the pickup screen. Now haven't been driving it a whole lot as there's bare metal on the body again, body work and all. Anywho, I noticed...

6.4 Hemi swap into 65 Fury

I think you could but you'd have to scavenge the parts out of an old (2000's) police Charger. They were all column shift. Now, adapting that in to a C-body? Who knows.

Might be some metal shavings in a cylinder, what to do?

If it's not in the car, I'd pull the head and the pan, yank the piston, and make sure any swarf that got in isn't trapped by a ring. Better safe than sorry. But if it's in the car, I'd pull the plugs and spin it dry, no fuel, in hopes anything that got in gets shot out knowing a rebuild is...

    screetching noise in reverse

Through the tube. Be sure to check it in neutral. After you fill run it through the gears, i.e. 1, 2 , D, R, N and again. Then check again in neutral.

    screetching noise in reverse

When mine did that, it was about 6 months before the rest of the transmission went. Check the fluid level though, it may just be low.

Fixed one issue another popped up

2-3 inches at idle? I'm going with late valve timing. If you haven't done a timing chain yet its where I'd put my money.

Get yourself a vacuum gauge and use it to tune. https://fordsix.com/ci/Vacuum.html When using any vacuum gauge keep in mind that they are all calibrated at sea level and read-outs in the instructions are in reference to that level. When above sea level all readings will drop one division per...
