Summit has these, but list no results for 120123 Accel cap. Apparently these fit every GM V8 of the mid fifties.

The 30300 is for RB and Hemi. The 30301 is for SB. The 30302 is for B, low deck BB. They all use a clamp down cap that is a original cap for a ~1957 Chevrolet all V8s if memory serves.

Mopar Performance steel shim gaskets are the same thing.Mr. Gasket Head Gaskets 1135G Mr. Gasket also. Apparently Mopar Performance started making them from precious metals at $160 for a pair.

That's the accumulator it helps soften the shift. You block them or pull the spring and let it ride on the bottom will firm up you shift. I would just blend out the scratches with some very fine sandpaper and leave it. If it were to bleed by a tiny bit it would cause no harm.
