Looking to sell 1975 Cordoba for a Vet, any tips?

Haha My '76 Cordoba had 2.45 and low slip, or low stall to the rest of the world. It got better mpg at 65-70 mph than 55 mph. My parents had a '82 new Yorker with a 999 lock up, another 80mph car in a 55 mph era.

Looking to sell 1975 Cordoba for a Vet, any tips?

Parts availability makes them easier to do work to I should have said. No air temp II, no unobtainable wiper shear bushing, ball joints are cheap and readily available. The lean burns were on the 400, that is easily eliminated, with a quicky file on the metering rods the lean is gone. Plugs and...

Looking to sell 1975 Cordoba for a Vet, any tips?

I could be interested. Priced always high as with any Mopar these days. It is a B body Easier to work on than a C body.

On the A's and B's Chrysler used the hole position in the front spring hanger to alter the wheelbase (2 inches). The floor and rails are the same between Plymouth and the longer Dodges. With a C body the stub frame can be different because it controls the dimensions of the firewall forward...

    What I've been up too

Looks nice, can't believe your frame is not rotten, that stupid passenger compartment stiffener section has rotted on just about every one around here. That little bit colder weather must help.

    '68 300

The standoff valve (triangle shaped one) is not needed. It was to allow pressure to get shoes out to the drum in rear while holding pressure off of front calipers. This was done at low pressure/low traction conditions. It has no effect on normal to panic braking. Omit it except 1000 point resto...

Another quick check for wander in the steering is tie rod angles. If you level the center link (shims under the tires, best to drive on them, jacking changes things). Then using a good not cheapy angle finder, check the tie rod sleeve angles they should match, if not you have something out of wack.

The most caster you can get, a tick of negative camber and a little bit of toe in and it will drive sweet.

Have you got it running yet with that cam? Just curious what manifold vacuum you are getting with a decent compression ratio. I put that cam in BIL low '77, 440 I got it up to 14"", better than the 11-12 from the 292/509. Just looking for free reference material to fill my head.

That's the best way. My sanded down .030 piston in a standard bore 440. Broke the cam in on Saturday, connected the shifter, clutch, and steering column. First drive in Tuesday from shop to house. Wednesday drove a few miles, changed the oil filter, Thursday finished exhaust and put it in the...
