Any lessons learned about your conversion we should know about?

Well… I finally got around to it.

I ended up using outer and inner door/window channel seals from a 1978 El Camino got my NYB. Long enough to cut down and a fairly good match on the profile.

I have one of the 779….. never knew the breakdown. Thanks. And…. No, I don’t remember seeing a Newport with it. It was an expensive option as I recall.
