Looking for the owner of a 1962 Imperial in the Pasadena Ca area.

He almost took out some parked cars and pedestrians on the way out too!

    My neighbor ruined my plans

At least the damage seems to be confined to the rear door. There might be some repair to the strike and "B" pillar.... Hopefully the interior trim panel is unscathed. A good example of how vulnerable these cars are to side impacts.... before the era of door reinforcements. The biggest...

    1969 Imperial progress thread

Just seeing this thread now. Wow, this is out of control. I've been missing out. On the steering column, suggest to test the operation of the parking brake release vacuum switch to make sure it engages with the plastic tang on the shift tube. I recall on mine it didn't always work, it was a...

Yes, that poor Imperial needs some TLC, and its odometer has most likely rolled over. The amount of oil and grime accumulated on the block is 100k miles' worth. And then some. Should have swapped hubcaps...

That cabin and yard were cute. But at least you have some more garage space now. It takes a lot less to make a man happy. You probably don't know it yet but the next big project is already in the planning stages :poke:

So I bought this one today.

How about that.... I didn't know you could have these rebuilt. Cheaper than a new one?

I noticed that too. Also see that the foundation curb is CMU, not cast in place. Out here we usually install monolithic footing with slab on grade. Reinforcement in slab continues into footings.

In case it may help, here is a recent topic on a two-post lift: Does this Lift make my stroker look fat? @DocMcNeedy , congrats on the new garage with attached house. It's cool that you are planning for a dedicated dog wash station. You might soon have neighbors bringing over their pooches for...

    1973 Imperial brake booster finish

My original 1973 booster is gold cad plated (type II with chromate treatment). Would assume that Imps had the same unit? You can also achieve this look with a chromate dipped zinc plate.
