You're dealing with a stock engine. No need for headers. You wouldn't even notice a differences if you put them on. I suggest you keep the stock manifolds on there. They will be quieter, less likely to leak, and will not burn stuff up or require you to change other parts like a starter as stated...

That definitely a W engine (348/409), most likely a 348. I hate that she's been lowrider'd, but it's still a good looking car.

Was that one extruded? It looks a little too smooth to be a hand port.

Do you have fuel injection? If so an upstream exhaust leak can throw things off. I don't think a carb would be effected.

No experience here, but the extrude hone process intrigues me. I don't know how much material it does or can remove, but it flows under pressure like a fluid through the entire piece, so it only makes sense to me that the extrude hone process will flow through the piece similar to air/fuel thus...

I got my exhaust system on and all is good. I'm really happy with the TTI system and the quiet rumble of the Dynomax mufflers. The Eastwood internal exhaust coating went on without any problems once I figured out how to clean the oil film out of the pipes. The coating cures with a full heat...

It looks like a well built system. A little daunting looking in the box but hopefully getting the old pipes out will be the hardest part. Since no one responded about using the Eastwood coating I guess I'm going to be the guinea pig here and test it out. I'll report back when everything is done.
