Still searching! I'm wanting to have a poster made but clear pics of the early 440 with the dual snorkel are hard to find. The 66 Chrysler 440 from a New Yorker (TNT) came with the dual snorkel.

Does anyone know a source for pictures of the 440 Super Commando? I'd like something that shows the dual snorkel and complete engine, preferably from a Plymouth brochure or advertisement.

The 66 TNT motor I bought for my car came with a Carter AFB. Came out of a 66 NYer.

I did find this Bolt I.D. thread Series No.1: 440 engine

The motor is turquoise and I'd like all the bolts to be black. I screwed up and didn't take the flange thickness of the new valve covers into account when I sent all the engine bolts to the powder coater.

I'm already on the mymopar site and ARP's site. I'll figure it out. Just wondered if someone here already had the info.

So my aftermarket valve covers are evidently thicker than my stock ones requiring longer bolts than the stock bolts. Anyone know off hand the size and thread size? of the stock valve cover bolts so I can order some black shiny ARP bolts a little longer?

Thanks for the help! I don't have air but I am going to run a vacuum gauge. And I found one thru one of the folks over at one of the 440 pages I frequent.

haha you guys are crackin me up tonite… So I found a semi local parts car. 66 Sport Fury Convertible in pretty rough shape and the owner is saying it's a 318 according to the vin. here's a couple more pics. Flat tires, no carb, floors rusted thru, seats in bad shape, gauges mounted in the dash...

It's pretty well trashed! and I could use the parts on mine....

We'll see. I'd like to get my hands on it for parts if the price was right...

All I have is the picture. It's a parts car I'd like to buy....

It's a 66 and the VIN says 318 but it sure looks big in the pic? I guess it could even be a 440 if it's swapped?

Can anyone tell from the pic whether this is a 318 or 383?
