Thanks! I lied, I said I didn't have to drill any holes. I forgot I had to drill two 1/4" holes for the drier bracket next to radiator. Need to buy MasterCool crimping tool for hoses. Shopping best price. Headed out now to work on running powerlines and speaker lines for audio system. Hope...

Something to add...didn't have to cut any holes in metal. Where the dryer is, there was a hole that was perfect, and maybe was originally for AC cars? The lower hose on condenser runs thru a hole that has a 'rolled' edge, so it's not sharp. Worked out perfect.

    AC install begins...underhood

OK, pulleys installed, brackets all installed, compressor and drier installed. Mocked up hoses, think this may be the final routing. Playing around with some 45 and 90 degree fittings on the drier, I removed my heater system completely, so I was able to run the AC lines thru the old heater holes...

That's who I'm working with. Was on the phone earlier with Randy in tech support. They respond same day to emails, and most phone calls in my experience. Wasn't sure what length belts I now needed. He suggested getting the longest drive belt you can find like at a salvage yard, and use that to...

Guys, guys, guys! I will address these issues. This is how she came to me when I bought her last year. The fuel line was not routed like in the pic under the belt. That belt is cut so I could mock things up. Filter just happened to fall down into that position, and belt laid over the pulleys...

OK, been putting this off, but about time to start. HP manifolds are finally installed, still need to weld them up. OEM valve covers installed. Gathered up a OEM 4 groove pulley, OEM 2 groove water pump pulley, OEM lower alternator bracket, BPE upper alternator bracket. Sanden compressor, BPE...

    Mark IV underdash install questions

Bracket done. Just assembled, painted lower 3 bolts black, and back in the oven at 180* for an hour. The oven/heat smooth out the paint that was sprayed from the can. And makes for a very hard finish that is hard to scratch. First bracket I brazed the joints, but had no adjustability. Second...

Too many projects!! Thursday and Friday dedicated to the 300 AC project. Reinstalled gauges, made some brackets, but didn't like the way the AC would of been located off center, to the right. Now mocked up/centered over hump, ash tray still opens!! Will make some adjustable brackets like I have...

BigJohn….that's what I plan on buying. 150 bucks or so. I check ebay for deals every night. I got scammed on that kit couple week ago. I think they were selling for like 30 bucks. I bought it, as did others, but in the end it was a scam. I figured it was. Ebay caught it and refunded PP right away.

    Mark IV underdash install questions

Spoke to VA today about mounting angles. Two degrees is minimum for drainage. They didnt have max angle. They said have to experiment. Too much angle, and condensation will go into blower and come out vents. I think CBody said the same thing. Also I mentioned their crappy mounting brackets. Tech...

    Mark IV underdash install questions

Thanks Ross! I do have a shop that makes hoses for all industries not too far from me. I'll have to stop by, show them what I have, and see if they will crimp for me, and at what cost. I just realized I don't have the compressor mounting bracket. I thought I ordered one, but guess not. BPE...
