The crappy years? There were some cool Mopar cars from 1975-1991 (pre-viper), so list 'em!

Thanks for starting this thread, @Northcoast300h. Really fun and interesting to see what was available!

A good excuse to go to Germany

I keep my eyes peeled! ;-)

A good excuse to go to Germany

Actually... it's not. :-) The space is limited and will be reserved for Fuselage Mopars only. BUT... of course you can join us for the activities and BBQ! You may have to camp elsewhere on the campsite. So, good luck with the search. Does it have to be a '70? I know of a '71 Sport Fury 2dr HT...

Cool! What are you bringing? And are you on Facebook, too?

A good excuse to go to Germany

Correct, Jeff! Date and new venue are set for 2018... so go and plan your trip! :-) Another Fuselage fan, Paul Magee from Morrisville, North Carolina, joined us this year for BBTR #02. His words: "I enjoyed it more than Carlisle!" Btw, are you from Portland, Oregon? I used to live in Ashland...

    Let thy divorce proceedings commence!

That’s true, but it was also part of the adventure. Plus, I am a member of an automobile association and they would have picked me up in case of a complete breakdown. So it was kind of an adventure with a safety net… :D

    Let thy divorce proceedings commence!

Congratulations! But I would say go and get it! You'll never forget that trip! I bought my New Yorker 900 miles away from home. Drove there in a rental with my best friend, bought the Chrysler, dropped the rental off and had a memorable trip back home in the land yacht. 16 hours with no...

Don't be afraid of the d... istance

True. It's over 2000 years old and Germany's oldest city. But I have to say, I also love the sky over the Croatien islands. It's just plain beautiful!

Don't be afraid of the d... istance

Today we drove to Baška, a village in the south of the Krk island. The road up to the church and the graveyard where I shot this image was very narrow and with two serpentines, which needed some maneuvering, but we made it. And the view was well worth it. Yesterday we came to the village of...

Don't be afraid of the d... istance

Sadly a lot of people in Germany (or maybe all of Europe) are afraid of driving their Mopar further away from home than maybe 100 miles. Some faer the fuel consumption, some don't rely on their cars, some... I don't know. If you maintain your car on a regular basis - what can go wrong? A lot, I...

    2016 Carlisle Car Photo's

Yes, the Mopar Nats have an age restriction, but like I said, most regular classic car shows are open to cars older then 20 years. There are also events with old and new cars, but they are usually shows for one specific brand.

Not correct. You can bring your 20 year old car to most classic car show in Europe, as it is considered to be a modern-era classic car. I brought my 1969 Ghia to a classic car show in 1992 - a 23 year old vehicle back then. No problem. You guys in the US might be a bit more open minded when it...

No, I don't think so. We may have different show formats (one day shows in SoCal starting at 6 am and ending by 2 pm vs weekend shows in Europe for example) but the classic car people are pretty much the same.

Maybe with Mopar reality, Dave! Other than that I am pretty much every day in touch with classic car reality, as I work as editor for classic car magazines... ;-)

I second that. But... classic car people have more in commen with other classic car lovers, no matter what the brand is. An owner of a metric Challenger buys stuff from the shelf and has maybe enough skills to bolt on the parts he bought. If you are into classic Mopars, you know how to weld, you...
