Don´t bet on that. Desoto Diplomat was built as a Dart-based model during yet one model year (1962) in South Africa. ``Die luukse De Soto deur Chrysler`` tells the ad.

@73Coupe Also the DeSoto Diplomat was built with the Dart body during 1960, but that model was never available in the USA hence it was an export-only model. Edit: in the 50s Diplomats were built using Plymouth bodies.

Speaking about the Toro and Riv, I would not even consider anything else than a 71-73 boat tail Riviera. Of those five Imps, I prefer the 61 Crown over the 57-60. The fins are after all smoother in my eyes. Yes, they´re higher than the older ones, but the back edge of them is sort of flowing...

The script advertising Holman Motors just doesn´t fit to a cop car and it looks to have been attached to the trunk lid from the day one.

Do you have to test emissions of all cars there? In Finland cars older tan 1978 are free from that kind of testing.

Yeahrightgreer has a good answer. If you have a movable car, it´s better to save a bit than loose everything.

Some sort of a pastel color would look good because 61 Plymouths have a strong resemblance to the wildness of the late 50s. Just my 2C.
