I had a similar intermittent on my 69 Sport Fury vert many many years ago and it ended up being a corroded and burnt connection at my bulkhead connector. I hope this helps .....

So did I miss something ? what happened after you worked on the Amp meter connections ?? did that help resolve the problem ?

Sometime ...,,, Well maybe a tad more than sometimes the main power connection at the bulkhead connection will be / get corroded if not have an outright melt down. you can have power to one side but not the other. just a good thing to check out !!

Try bulkhead connector or main wire going to Amp meter in dash ....

Especially when most if not all of these bad boys are forty some odd years old ..... :idea1:

Yes they are very delicate, The ones I am going to work on is a set I just got they look real good but one of the single ones moves very loosely so I assume that something is broken inside. So that is the one I will dismantle first so if it breaks "OH WELL" that will be the one I sacrifice and...

I just started, I was looking at trying to see how the front lever disconnects from the main body, I see two tabs that may or seem to push in. It seems clear that the four tabs need to be gently pried open then it should just dump out on to the table !! OR !!! springs & shrapnel will be...

Many time the bulkhead connector contacts on the engine compartment side get corroded and will give you many hours of hit & miss phantom electrical problems (electrical gremlins) ........ If your getting power on both sides of the fuse block and you may, you still may have a corrosion issues on...
