My car (1970 Fury) has the same codes on the fender tag (V5X) and build sheet (X in V5- box) and no sign of stripes. However, the two stripe boxes to the right of the V5- box are blank. I think the paint is original on most panels.

As far as I can tell, the black is original, and they didn't put much time into as you can see from the overspray.

I don't think anyone makes a carpet that fits properly. At least not for the 1970 Fury, and it seems like it will the same.

That explains this: My mirror is mounted in the outside holes. I wondered why there was another set. It looks like my mirror is not correct for a 1970 Fury. I will take it off and look at the casting number.
