Does Anyone Have an NOS or Really Good Backup Light Assembly for a 1972-3 Imperial

I am still in for 1 piece (for my 1973). Living in Vienna - Austria - Europe :)

    Sold my Newport

Saw so many being destroyed in cheap Hollywood-series of the 80ies. They became a part of my childhood that way. Still a car I would like to own one day, if I can find one - especially with the stacked rectangular headlights.

Side window vertical leading edge weather strips for 4-door hardtop Fuselages

As my vertical side window weather strips - between front and rear door glass - are torn somewhat, I would like to find "new" ones for better sealing. Couldn´t find anything for my 73 Imperial yet. Steele Rubber doesn´t offer that for Mopar C-bodies and I didn´t find them mentioned for 71-73...

    Used car parking lot...

You are looking at a village in the Mosel-Valley in Germany, between Trier and Frankfurt, where 44 (as on this photo) and some more Fuselage C-body-Mopars gathered for fun. A picture was taken together, in reminiscence of an old picture from a yard at a Chrysler plant somewhere around 1969-1973...

Chrysler colors of 1973, pick your favorite

I´m biased for GF3 Amber Sherwood metallic, but the browns (HT8 CHestnut metallic and JY9 Tahitian Gold metallic) and gold (JY6 Golden Haze metallic) are worth a look. GE 7 (Burnished Red met.) and JB9 (Regal Blue met.) are a nice treat too.

    69 across the pond

Seems to have been recorded in the Vltava/Moldau-Valley in early spring. Brings a late 60s feeling to the colors... ;)

When it is ready and shipping to Europe can be arranged, I would like to get one as well. Keep us updated - we need more good news like that. :)

So that would the vin-tag of this dealer/Hurst conversion.

In my 73 Imperial it is looking like this:

Another Very Good Video on Youtube again by "Adam" - 1972 New Yorker

Fuselage styling from Chrysler Corp. started in 1968 as 69 models and lasted until 1973, when the C-Bodies were changed again to the "formal style". One of the most futuristic styling in the late 60ies IMO. And yes, I follow Adam´s Rare Classic Cars too on Youtube.

My New Preferred Whitewalls for C Bodies

Well, something like this double-stripe-design design was available at least in the beginning of the seventies - see the 1972 and 1973 ad from the brochure below. The inner stripe was wider than the outher stripe - i think that Diamondback still offers those WW-tires as "Jubilee" (for Cadillacs...
