    Can I recommend a Liqui Moly brand ceratec or mos2 additive. I ran that with every oilchange in a 4cylinder 7000rpm engine with flat tappet and no hydraulic lifters. Never had any real wear and after a few oilchanges I even noticed a 1 to 2 mpg increase! I think the ceratec is better, smaller...

    Try an orange cam for the squirter. Its very well possible that you need bigger holes in the power valve section but try the cam first.

    I use mystery oil and seafoam sometimes on our daily drivers. I only put it in if we go on a long drive where we run the whole tank through. I used mystery oil in an old hyundai we had and it did solve some lifter noise!

    I would try: 2° more or less of total timing and put in 1 or 2 step leaner mainjets. Then maybe lean out the idle a smudge too (like 1/8 turn on an idle mix screw).... and see how it behaves....

    One thing with the carb spacers. Make sure you adjust for a prettly large pumpshot in the software to compensate, I went from no spacer to spacer and it needed +25% or something like that! Its because you increase the size of the plenum.

    My expierience is that you really need a good battery and a good charging system. These systems don't seem to respond well to lower voltages! Id recommend upgrading your chargewire and alternator wire to some 00gauge! This way you have less drop when cranking. This dreaded drop while cranking...
