Double check your fuel filter and hoses/lines while you are at it. Cheap/easy to do. Especially if there is a pin hole leak prior to the pump, you might hit pay dirt! Good luck!

Since the car has headers, does it have the stock non-adjustable lifters, or have the heads been swapped? Are their any other ignition or engine modifications?

Yes, that worked. I don't have a combo 9/16-universal and it kept over-rotating getting the universal part stuck/locked up. I used a chunk of masking tape to stabilize the universal, and with one under the car, and the other across the motor, we snuck them both out. Thanks! 20 or however many...

Thanks Folks, the line swap was a snap. I threaded the old front line with a piece of 22awg galvy fence wire, and it worked perfect. Check out the holy grail found behind the back part of the rear seat. I will remove it someday and put it in plastic, but it has an artistic/purist component...
