Thanks Julian..again :) I know, some parts are available, however I couldn't find -69 spring isolators, -72 and up yes, but it seems to be different? Anyway, LCA bushings are no no and torsion bars support bar isolators are also problem,so I think at the same time, why not doing other parts too.

Yeah, you're right. Now I have molds and knowledge how to do it. Still I want see how is the final fitment and how these works in action..

Thank you Sir! ....about your project ,I don't know but A 40 sounds a little soft to me, but remember I'm not the specialist here..Like I said, casting was made by professional guy, and he got a materials. I think it's better find industrial quality material supplier, they should know...

...hero...heh, don't know about that but thank you! About bushings..Rare Parts used to make these but not anymore. I did 2 sets of bushings, one with old metal parts and one with new ones, just in case.

Yes 3d printer is very useful too but I have this "CNC printer " so I use that :)..

Here's some parts for my -69 Le Baron project. LCA bushings and rear spring isolators are no longer available so I decided to try to make these and some other parts . First I did measuring for 3D modeling, luckily these was simple parts and easy to make with Solidworks . After that it was time...

-69 Baron's lock strike bolt rubber insulators was in bad shape and needs replacing, but how to do it? Metal parts are recoated with nickel/zinc ( that's why the color is differentt than regular zinc). I was wandering how to make new insulation between parts and easy fix is simply two plastic...

Looks perfect! What 3D software you are using? I'm working with Solidworks and I had same idea doing that gear for my -69 Imp. It's funny working with 3D programs , you start working and then you have new idea and after that another one, and then you realize that you have been working 5-6...
