Need some assistance with tailshaft. I have a '68 Polara hardtop that was a factory 383/727/8.75 and unfortunately couldnt find a another driveline and ended up scoring a 318/904 from a 1970 Dodge Phoenix. What tailshaft should I be using as the original one looks a little short?

Hi Alan, Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it's true isn't it. I'm more concerned and the best way to tackle engine mounts. The rest is OK and I can sort out. I've got complete driveline and I know I will have to modify driveshaft.

Question is, my Polara was a factory big block car and I've got a running slant 6 and 904 auto that I want to throw in it for something different. What's the easiest solution?

Hi All, Would anyone be able to shed some light if 66-68 Polara's come out with slant 6? If so, were the K-Frame's the same for the Slant 6 Polara to the small block and big block Polara's?
