Thanks for the foot switch, I've never seen one before that I can think of so was just really going by the parts catalogue. I'll let you know if it works.

Thanks! This is going to be a long long winter having to wait to work on it :gah: Well, I need everything except antenna and radio now. So, speakers, brackets, grilles, supports, floor control. The front speaker is apparently a 4"x10" and rear 6"x9". The part numbers I have so far are...

Thanks, I won't be working on it until the spring so right now I am formulating the game plan and trying to get some parts. The mirror isn't stock and wasn't standard until 66 or 67 as far as I know. The original "Accessories" catalogue that also came with the car shows "door mount mirror"...

Thanks Commando, I am hoping I remember enough to make this a nice car to drive around in... of course, in a worst case, it would make the replace or repair conundrum an easy choice LOL

To be honest, I'll be the first to call myself a hack. Aside from two years of painting cars for one of the big three back when people still did that work, I am self taught. The pros would just roll their eyes at my work (or at least my methods LOL). I'll be sure to post pics as the work...

I should be able to patch the R quarter seeing as I have a perfect 'template' on the left side. The creased fender is going to be a pain which is why I am thinking replace, not repair. Of course, that won't stop me from pulling out a torch, a punch and a hammer to make the repair attempt. :)...

Here are a few more pictures of the big things on the body that need fixing (still debating R fender repair vs. replacement): rusted out lower rear L fender(pic 1), some creased damage to the lower rear R fender(pic 2) and the lower rear R quarter(pic 3). The L quarter has had work judging from...

    Hello from Michigan w/ radios

Hi Tals, I am looking for a model 360 / 5FBPD (preferred) or 361 / 5FBP Plymouth radio (for a 65 Fury) if you happen to have one in the pile 'o stuff you have. If you have the radio bezel out of a 65 Fury to go with it, I could definitely use that as well.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Not to worry Fratzog, this may have been a beater for me 20 years ago but definitely not now, I have only taken it out after our first snow to judge how well it would do in snow... and of course have a bit of fun in a parking lot since I haven't had a rear drive...

So I picked up a '65 Sport Fury, 318, about five weeks ago after nearly 6 months of searching for something worth buying that wouldn't cost an arm or a leg. Unfortunately, just under two weeks after buying it, the weather turned crap so she is on ice (literally) until spring. I am the third...
