    Found 1966 383 2v air cleaner sticker

Ah, I get it now. My plugs are in good shape, relatively new Champions. Engine has been rebuilt within the last 5 years I think, and probably under 1000 miles since the rebuild. Not sure since the odometer is broken and I don't have records from previous owners . . . I think I was confusing...

Yes, adding a dual chamber reservoir from a '67 is on my todo list for this summer . . . thanks for the reminder!

    Found 1966 383 2v air cleaner sticker

Are those "correct" spark plug wires? If so, who makes them and where do you get them? The set I have on my car right now seem real chincy and don't give a firm click when going onto the plugs . . . .

    Found 1966 383 2v air cleaner sticker

Curious - how would the idle mixture/smell change after a good driving?

    Found 1966 383 2v air cleaner sticker

I don’t think there’s a difference for 2bbl or 4bbl. I got your old carburetor installed today. Running good so far!

    Found 1966 383 2v air cleaner sticker

That's the thing - mine is missing. I ended up ordering one that is very similar, but it has the curvy "M" before the Mopar instead rather than the capital M followed by a LONG O vowel . . . thanks for the reply!

    Found 1966 383 2v air cleaner sticker

Seems I can find every air cleaner sticker under the sun except the correct one for 1966 383-2v. I get lots of variations and ones that "might" be close but never a definitive replica. If you have one or have a link to one, please share. Someone repainted my air cleaner at some point and...

Found Three bolt washer pump 65/66

sweet, thank you! I'd probably have to trim off the nylon that surrounds where the wire plugs in because my car has it's own nylon fitting that will interfere, but shouldn't be too big of a deal.

Thanks Ross. NOS on eBay go for like $250, which is ridiculous. I'm having trouble finding the Mustang ones as well . . . I'll keep searching.

    WANTED Stromberg WWC 3-262 carb

Thank you! An amazing amount of info and experience. I will look carefully into this when I rebuild my WWC. . The carb I got from Ed hasn't been on a car in a very long time, so perhaps it's not warped at all. I'll know more when I have it torn apart. Thanks again.

Is this something that could be mitigated by "double gasketing" the air horn?
