Single speed windshield wiper motor help please

I am rewiring my car and getting close. I have a question as the FSM wiring diagram is confusing me. Back of my switch has a P, B, and R. I know R and one side of P go to the wiper motor itself, and B is 12 volt in, just not sure about the other side of P. The wipers work just fine and go...

    Voltage regulator

I apologize up front as I am slowly wiring my entire car. I just want to make sure that I am wiring this regulator correctly. Field from alternator to field post and other post to ignition? Grounding comes from the mounting brackets?

    New Wiring Harness Options

I am in the process of rewiring my car now and went with this kit. A little overkill, but well built and heavy gauge wire. I am not a purist so not having correct wire colors does not matter to me. I just want the piece of mind that it is not going to burn down on me. Highway 22 Plus...

    Instant power loss

I have a problem that I cannot seem to figure out. Backstory.. PO hacked the every living sh@t out of my wiring, its on my winter to do list. I did put a kill switch on it under my dash and habitually turn it off when I shut off the car. The problem started about a week ago, driving and...

I know we beat this to death but....

Wrong use of words. I have tested the resistors with ohm meter and i get 1.3 on some and up to 2 on others. I assume they heat up, the resistance lessens?

I know we beat this to death but....

8.5 volts to the coil with key in. I do have the 2 wire connection on the leaving side of the coil. Is it frigging possible to get that many bad resistors?

I know we beat this to death but....

Ballast resistors. I am starting to blow them constantly, frying coil, and it is starting to become scary when the motor stops, my brakes dont!!! 13.73v in and almost everyone I have gotten out of the box leave around 11.11 volts. I thought you should be getting 9volts out of the resistor...

    Slow starting when hot

That is what I thought also, but once I put a heat shield on, it went away.

    Slow starting when hot

I have had that problem, I put a heat shield on the exhaust pipe to protect the starter and have not had a problem since. My starter got so hot I could not touch it because of the exhaust.

    Turn Signals Intermittent short

Keep a fire extinguisher in the car. I put a kill switch in under the dash just in case. The previous owner did some hack wiring jobs and it scared the hell out of me. I fix most of the stuff, but you never know.
