Nice looking car. In my mind it's worth less with the bullet holes and even less with the half cocked story that goes with it :-) Three on the tree would indicate a manual over here too, column shift for auto....

From what I can work out, the styling or design cues were taken from the 1953 Chrysler D'Elegance. The Chrysler/Ghia designed and built vehicle had a functioning electro-hydraulic spare wheel release system mounted in the trunk lid. Pictures from the 'Virgil Exner Visioneer' book.

Brown must be this weeks trend. The good thing about brown is not too many other cars at the show will share your hue. I owned a brown '74 challenger when I was a spring chicken. It was a fairly hopped a beast but part of the appeal was the 'brown' albiet with gold and red tints :-)
