    If you have a 440 powered 66 Fury I have a request.

Thank you sir. I somehow missed that you replied. One thing mine already has is the 8 3/4 rearend. Maybe the Fury I's or II's had the smaller one. Also I wonder if the 318 cars had a smaller drum brake out back than a 440 car? I'll ask this in a diff forum I guess. Do you or anyone else know of...

Need pics of factory wheel and wheel covers for 68 300's.

Actually there are no pics in the brochure of a 300 with any hubcaps at all. I'm wondering if the 300's had caps or covers unique to the 300 or did they share covers with the other 68 C's?

I've searched but cant come up with anything that shows me what wheels and wheel cover options there were for 68 300's. Can anyone help with that? Thanks. Ken.

    If you have a 440 powered 66 Fury I have a request.

If you read my post in the "engines" forum you'll know better what I'm doing here, but I would like to be educated as much as possible in the differences from the factory in the area of brakes, suspension etc between a 318 equipped car and a 440 car. Anything you can help with (especially with...

Anyone here ever deal with this place?

I dont really care if he/they get rich, just wondering if anyone knows if its a "safe" place to deal with or should I run away as fast as I can? They have the best price on the very hard to find lower balljoints I've seen....if its legit. Thanks.

    Question about front brake hoses.

Still gearing up and picking up parts for the disc brake swap on one of my C's, but was wondering, when swapping out the drums for the 73 discs, which hoses will I need? Will the 73 disc hoses connect to the 66 or 68 drum hard lines? Thanks. Ken.

Since the 73 disc brake swap seems to be the most popular swap, can those....

What year cars were these you did? Were they already power assisted (booster) and did you retain the drum booster or swap it out? Thanks.

Since the 73 disc brake swap seems to be the most popular swap, can those....

Really, seriously, NO ONE here has actually done this swap? Or do you just not want to talk about it? Lol.

....who've done it comment on your personal before and after experiences with the swap, was it a BIG man I'm glad I did it change in braking or just so so or...? Some discussion would be nice. Thanks.

Can someone tell me if the 73 disc brake dust shields are unique to the 73, or....

I will second that, thanks for the idea. :icon_thumleft:

Who do you guys like for repro C body brake lines?

I'm looking for the lines from the MC to the prop valve. I've copied many diff lines in the past to look like originals, but time constraints have me looking for ready made aftermarket copies, so, what are our choices...or are there any? Thanks. Ken.

Can someone tell me if the 73 disc brake dust shields are unique to the 73, or....

...can other years be used. I think I read somewhere here that the 68-73 spindles dimensionally are the same in every way except the bearing area, which is a larger diameter on the 73. Anyone know the deal on this? Thanks.

And so begins the next project...disc brakes.

That figures. Would you happen to know if the 73 shields are unique to the 73 or will other years work? I should prolly ask that in a separate thread. Thanks BTW.

And so begins the next project...disc brakes.

A question, can the 73 disc brake dust shields be bought new anywhere? The ones that came from the donor car are rotted to pieces. Thanks for any ideas.

And so begins the next project...disc brakes.

Well ya know, I did exactly that same thing on my drag car, just eliminated the prop all together and just made a T for the fronts, and used an adjustable valve for balance. Sound wisdom.

And so begins the next project...disc brakes.

Just got the A/C system rebuilt, now for the disc brake swap. Picked up the cores today from a 73 New Yorker. Paid $200 for what you see here and only the spindles, dust shields and prop valve will be used, but I don't know of any place to get new spindles, so the tear down and clean up begins...

Ok guys, this is my disc brake swap parts check list.

Thanks a bunch for the pix. You say you had to "adjust" the pushrod length, I wondered about that. How much did you have to alter it by, did you have to lengthen or shorten it?
