Definitely savable. In fact, I think I could make a pretty good argument for fixing what's there with some fresh steel. The torsion bar section forward doesn't look too bad and really that's just the body mount. Of course, the right way would be to replace the stub frame.

Sure it can be saved. Assuming the stub is the worst of the rust, and you are willing. Sub replacement isn't too difficult, just time and space consuming. Looks like the rear window may be leaking too. If I were after it, I would source a stub frame and plan the swap. Regasket/paint the...
