    Power steering Box.

    Good Afternoon You might want to consider having yours rebuilt. The quality of aftermarket parts such as these are dubious at best. I personally have used Steer and Gear HOME | steerandgear to rebuild the box in the 'Party Barge' ('65 Newport). They offer different levels of rebuilding...

    We’ll see how interested Buyer. is before I start investing in boxes in time. I certainly appreciate all of your input. Thanks for the education.

    Spark plug confusion.

    The plug on the left is definitely not the right one, its threads are too long. I think that type is used in a slant six or small-block. The plugs are supposed to be resistor plugs so I would say the one on the right is correct. I don't think the difference between the 12 and 13 is very...

    That seat upholstery looks great - "Brocadalicious" is what I call it. Nice to see these American Yank Tanks in Poland!

    383 differences per year

    Well, we will soon see if the engine I'm going to go look at tomorrow has the mounting bosses, drilled or not. And I'm going to pop of one of the heads to take a look at what's what inside. My '65 Plymouth was scheduled to be built in November of '64. That means the engine would be built in '64...

    NOT MINE 1960 300F on eBay is a Scam!

    Per one of the 300 club members, this car belongs to someone else and is not for sale. Pics were lifted from an old sale on BAT. Scam listing! Nice car though! 1960 Chrysler 300F | eBay

    I think you're describing 440source stealth heads aren't you? =) I've been disappointed with every set of 516's I've used, including 2 sets that had reasonable 1.74 work and some porting. I'm really going to try to never use them again lol

    too lazy for torque specs

    Lot's of engines get put together without torque wrenches, but that doesn't make it right. IMHO, I would use the torque wrench on the cam bolt at minimum. The crank bolt is tough to check torque, I just use my impact. Cover and water pump bolts aren't critical, just use some care to not over...

    removing vinyl top glue

    At 50 years old that dried up glue will be hard to tackle with just chemicals. You will have to use mechanical means, such as a scraper, sander, then follow with adhesive cleaner, if it even works then. My go-to solvent for adhesive residue is 3M Adhesive Cleaner. Stronger solvents would be...

    Maciek1 -->1973 Imperial

    Do you still have original wheel covers but like the later Imperial versions better? I guess we would describe this as the Imperial LeBaron Town Landau edition with those non factory bars on the C pillar. LOL!

    Maciek1 -->1973 Imperial

    Glad you are doing such great things with this time capsule. It reminds me of the 72 LeBaron my grandparents bought for their 50th wedding anniversary in Sept 1971. He died unexpectedly 6 months later which is still a shock to this day. I got to learn to drive on in spring 1974 and took...

    too lazy for torque specs

    No, no, do it correctly. If you ever need to remove them again you'll hate yourself for using that crap! My motto: Do a job right or don't do it at all.

    Spark plug confusion.

    The plug on the left is not the correct plug for a 440. You'll have to look up the application for it to see what it fits, but if you screw that one in, it will hit the piston top and cause all sorts of havoc and destruction.
