Hi All My name is Kirk and I live in Sydney, Sustralia. I have a 1972 Fury Gran Sedan 4 door hardtop with the 400 ci engine that’s in almost new condition, and a 1971 New Yorker that’s in pretty rough shape and needs lots of work. The Yorker starts, moves and stops.

After shutting down motor…I can smell gas…for no apparent reason and after 5-10 min. wait, it’s very hard starting. Did this w/ original carb and new Holley 4 barrel.

What cam is in the engine? From the video it just sounds like it has an aggressive cam causing a rough idle.
