1966 Dodge Polara Station Wagon. This solid wagon was imported from Concord California and underwent a mild customization. The wagon has shaved door handles, (the front 2 doors have electric door poppers) the side mirrors where moved to the door frames, antenna removed etc. The solid California body is super, straight and is painted 2005 Dodge Ram Daytona "gomango" orange. The finish was buffed out to a high standard. The interior underwent a bucket seat/console swap from a 1966 Dodge Monaco, while the rear bench seat remains original. All seats were recovered in black c/w piping matching the exterior paint colour. The dash also underwent a mild customization, and is now sporting a new dash pad along with Auto-meter gauges. Ease of driving was accomplished through the use of power steering and power disc brakes.
This wagon was born with a big block, 383 V8 and 727 3 speed auto transmission. We recently upgraded the power plant by installing a new Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake and an Edelbrock 1906 annular spray, 4 barrel carburetor, c/w electric choke.
The rear axle setup is from a 1991 Ford Explorer. 3:73 locker with disc brakes. This was almost a direct bolt in and allowed for larger rims and tires. It
is now sporting 17" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, c/w a matching American Racing Torque Thrust styled steering wheel. The front brakes were also converted to discs, courtesy of S.S.B.C. We are fortunate enough to have the original protecto-plate. It’s not perfect, but we enjoy it.
Thanks for looking - Cheers Bud

Love the bronze color. The mirror on the door post is classic too, nice work and beautiful wagon! I have a soft spot for them. :). Would love to see some engine and interior pictures if you have any.
