1968 Fury Convert

General Information

1968 Plymouth III Convert. Numbers match, broadcast sheet match.
Bought her from a guy who owns a mechanic shop in 2014, it was his since 1985. He bought it from his body guy the original owner.
383, 2 barrel .Blue with white interior and top.
Complete rebuild: .030 over, all internal and external parts new. 9.5:1 compression. Built to be a highway driver.
All drivetrain new/ rebuilt.
Significant body work done by Casey Boden in Kansas City. Over 30 sq. Ft of sheet metal used to build new rear quarters and inners .Engine professionally built by Jay Gilbert in Kansas City.
I'm very happy with both guys.

Not done yet. Another buff, then the side trim and adjustments of trim and bumper. Will post more pics over time. Also have extnsive pics of the build. 383 is strong.

I intend to put a ton of miles on this car. My son Luke and I built this together, with some help.
 
Beautiful job! No ripples in that quarter, took a lot of TLC to get that right. I bought a '68 vert new and drove it all around the east coast. Loved the car except for the 318 engine so I traded it in on my 70 vert which I ordered with a 440. I think if my '68 would of had a 383 then I probably would still have it.
