1970 Chrysler Newport Cordoba

Some pics of my Newport Cordoba.

General Information

This rare 1970 Chrysler Newport Cordoba was offered for sale here on FCBO in 2018. It found its way via Canada to Germany in winter 2018.
Getting her road legal here in Germany required some mechanical work, i.e. lights, brakes, steering parts and an oil leaking rear axle seal.

It has the 383 2bbl with a 727 Torqueflite. Both work absolutely fine.
The interior and paint is still in excellent shape. Body and chassis are rust free. It's a pleasure to drive.

That’s one sharp looking ride !!! On a side note I saw one of those dragon hood medallions at a swap meet for $900. That’s a pretty rare bird you have.

wow herzlichen Glückwunsch ! Sieht richtig gut aus, ich glaube ich muss mal wieder zu Bruno Kleine zum Friday night meet fahren und das gute Stück begutachten. Grüße aus Bremen

I remember seeing one of those at a used car lot in the US in the 80’s, and thinking it was a wild Aztec motif. I have not seen one since, until now! Ultra rare and beautiful condition! Congratulations!

I have never seen one or even heard of the Cordoba option. That color really catches your eye as well as the vinyl top pattern. Beautiful car.

What a coincidence ! can't be many of these around and in similar condition. Thanks for posting up the pics

Wow! Close up shots are tantalizing. The Spanish style is here and looking good. Ricardo Montalbán would be proud, wonder if it has Corinthian Leather!!?
