67 Plymouth Sport Fury Iii Fastop

I bought this off EBay back in September of 2015. I have had a ton of fun with the car but am putting money away to change the look in the future. I have been seeing more C bodies around my area recently then ever before. That's a good thing!

General Information

I am thinking about changing the exterior color and the interior as well. If anyone has any ideas please share them.

Oh, wow............ dunno just what to say. Looks very well done from here, I just don't care for the outcome too much. I think I could live with the interior "maybe" not having seen all of it, but would have to find a more appropriate exterior and put some chrome bumpers back on it.

I hear you. I am thinking along the same lines. I want to get away from the mod look down the road.

Very nice car. I am wondering what the original color is. I would say go with a black interior as it is easier to keep clean. Then you are wide open to colors. Everything goes with a black interior. I say keep is easy to maintain. Just my two cents. Enjoy your car!

When I get to the redo point on a finished car or bike, I put a "for sale" sign in the window-on the handlebar. Then I take the proceeds and recreate with something that has been haunting me in the back of my mind.

Your car is very nice as it is,, maybe look for subtle changes but I would caution against repaint to black though. I did a colour change on my 67 sportfury convertible to black with a new pearl white and black interior and the bodywork had to be impeccable. Now that its done I wouldn't change it but it was a lot of work and expense.

Best Regards GPayment

Trust me, black is what I would like not what my wallet would, lol. Nothing is going to change on it for a few years now anyway. Plenty of time to has it out. Thanks for the post!

Came across your post. I have many 1967 Furys. almost all models there of. I have read the previous posts. I agree to bring the exterior back some. Chrome bumpers a must. Find wheel opening moldings, put them on as well a factory rocker moldings. Factory style magnum wheels. Keep car two tone, but make the hood all the same color as the body. If the trunk lid has the same red stripe then make it the same as body color. The car did come from the factory with pin striping on the body line of the front fenders through through door to the end of the 1/4 panel. This do in red to match the top. I would need more pics of car to offer any other suggestions. What I see of interior Looks great. You may want to search ebay for a factory sales literature to help. Please accept my suggestions with a open heart. I know the model. btw the car is a 1967 Plymouth Sportfury. The 3 bars red white and blue do not designate the model. Yes, you have fast top correct; not to many people know the difference. If you need help with parts and information please reach out. I do want to see more pictures of cars interior. I am intrigued.
