15 miles in 5 minutes, could you do it?

Another track I'd give a body part to drive. Nurburgring.. On the sims it's a great track.

Let's see,
Spa
Le Mans
Nurburgring

If I hit the lottery, all three tracks will see me..

Great video clip. To maintain that tempo the course must be branded into your memory. Even the slightest miscue will at best cost you a lot of time and at worst your life. It would be an insult to the course to allow anyone onto it with only normal driving skills.

We used to peg our speedos out on Maricopa Rd south of Phoenix back in the day. It was empty for miles and miles. That road sure got narrow when you bent a needle on a 140 or 150 mph dash. Young and dumb , young and dumb.

Here’s two from our top end club circa 1986 ??? That 340 ‘cuda would bury the 150mph speedo and once that 70 RT got rolling it could do it too. Dino the blue dinosaur not so much ( also 340 powered ) but it could pull a house off its foundation. Good ol days

My point was that that Hellcat Charger has seen more than 200mph on the "TX Tollroad" road, verified by radar. To average 180, it will take more than that to compensate for acceleration times and such.

At those speeds it’s always the tires that’ll get you.
