Nice well kept original 1955 Chrysler Imperial 2dr in rare red color . This car runs drives and is unrestored. Selling for an estate sale .

Wow! Nice. Is that interior really original? Looks like a deal to me but it's been for sale for a year?

The interior does look original as best I can recall from those days though it may have been redone, but correctly. My dad had a 1955 Chrysler New Yorker St. Regis Deluxe model and it had similar upholstery and leather trim much like this Imperial. Those were gorgeous cars and it deserved a better color choice back in 1955 IMO.

Given that this car is just 2 years shy of 70 years old, that likely suggests why it hasn't sold in over a year. Few folks have the drive for projects like that any more and most folks on the planet have no idea what a 1955 model would look like, much less want to take one on and maintain it would be my guess.
