True Barn Find! 1955 Packard Patrician

This Packard looks like it might have been in great condition when it was parked back in 1999 . The body panels and bumpers all look pretty straight. Too bad it was left out in the elements. Not even a car cover.

IMO 1955 Packard Patricians and Clippers have two of nicest faces among american cars. Gentle, sad, and intimidating at the same time. I would give up my Chrysler in a heartbeat for one of these cars. At the very least, I'm hoping to rub my body against one.

While Chrysler Corp. just barely made it half way through to Packard for the Torsion bar Suspension.

One of my friends dad bought a 56 model back in the early 90's. A doctor in southern Indiana passed and his family sold off his collection. The doctor had a habit of buying a car and parking it in his large building. The Packard was bought in Detroit with 8000 miles (around 1958) and driven home to park it in the building. His building was packed with low mileage, rust free cars.

Back in the day, I wonder how many times wifey was too hot, reached over from the passenger seat to adjust the fan, and turned the car off while hubby was driving?
More likely would be too cold, and engaged the starter while the engine was running. kkkckkkckkckc!

It went to some local auction. I know the continental mk ii went to a retired pacers player rick smits i think
