Hoping someone can tell me what Is original here and what it not. Package tray has a cardboard like stuff on bottom, looks original I think. Then a piece of hardboard with holes drilled in it for the speakers, looks home made. Then the fabric, is the fabric the original stuff? Has a seam in the middle which seemed strange.

Mine fell apart last year when I took the rear seat out. I used the peices to make a cardboard template for a new one, and cut new peices from weatherproof hard board. Then I made a new cover from material meant for patio furniture. (I'm sure it's not everyone's taste, but I like it, and it's easy to change.)

I think mine was original. Here is what I found:
1. Layer of nylon mesh fabric, which immediately crumbled (southwest car) Looks like your fabric, but did not have a seam, so I think yours was replaced.
2. Layer of black cardboard with circular perforation for speakers. Looks like your middle layer, but the holes were smaller. Again, I think yours was replaced
3. Bottom layer of cardboard or fiber board. Fell apart in my hands. It did have sunspots like yours from the speaker holes, and also a bunch of dotted-line cutouts where you could remove sections for AC, defroster, etc. I think yours is original, it looks just like mine.
