Start with Murray Park in Tiffin Ohio (www.cbodies.com)

Thank you for the information. I was hearing a sound that I thought was a heater fan rubbing until I shut the heater fan off and the noise was still there when I was driving it. When I came to a stop it stopped making noise starting again it was quiet from zero to like five or 10 miles an hour and then when I hit 20 it started to make that scraping sound again. I removed the speedometer cable and lubricated it but the noise was still there. Just moments ago I removed the speedometer cable from the back of the speedometer and drove it to 20-30 miles an hour and no noise. Is this something that happens? Is there a fix for it or does the speedometer housing itself have to be sent out somewhere? Thank you again. Could use some update

There are various shops that rebuild speedometers, and it sounds like that may be what you need. Hopefully, someone in here can chime in with a reputable place that's closer to you than where I'm at!

To verify that it is speedometer, a friend of mine came up with an idea. speedometer cable from the auto pilot unit. The one that goes right to the speedometer, then hook up a power drill to the speedometer cable and turn it on not too fast, but I’ll be here with scraping sound. You know what’s coming from the speedometer. We know the cable is good
