1966 Chrysler Newport Town Sedan - $6,000 - Federal Way, Washington

FB Description

Selling my Newport to someone who will give it more attention. 383 727, Edelbrock heads, intake, and carb, electronic distributor conversion and a mini starter. Needs a harmonic balancer and power steering pump bracket. All new cooling system. Typical rust garage kept. I'm the third owner, have the original dealer slip, and original rear seat cover is still intact, the front seat has seen better days. Runs and drives, it's just lots it's pizazz for me.

How can one choose that engine color and with those plug wires.. :realcrazy:
A friend of mine painted his engine metallic purple. I think he did it just to annoy me. Oddball engine colours are definitely not a selling feature if you're looking to sell the car though.

Odd ball engine colors and rattle bombed engine compartments with over spray on the cowl cover. All bad!

I may be Irish and believe in the wearing of the green but even for me that is too much green on the engine.

FB Description

1966 Chrysler Newport · Sedan · Driven 37,000 miles 1966 chrysler newport with 37000 original miles on the 383. It has a cooling issue that we've boiled down to not enough air being pulled through the radiator. Has a few dents and some surface rust but no holes, was repainted by one of the previous owners that didn't do proper prep so the paint on the top half is faded or pealing. Interior is solid but the headliner is toast, and the drivers seat was uncovered and over time has fallen apart. The second owner had installed a alarm system but didn't do any wire management so it looks like a mess with some extra wires. All in all it's a great car to start a project looking for 5500 obo.
