Rotisserie Restored 1966 Dodge Monaco 2 DR H/T Big Block Stroker Engine Torque monster - 574 Ft Lbs at the rear wheels!

Front to back and top to bottom this car has been completed rebuilt with only the best quality NOS, original restored, reproduction and aftermarket parts. Frame off body and paint by Investment Vehicle Restorations out of Granum, AB. IVR's prep, bodywork and attention to deal is second to none in the Restoration community.

Body was totally stripped, underside sandblasted and rust free sheet metal and hand fabricated panels installed where needed. Epoxy primed throughout and two stage topcoat exterior with Hushmat sound deadening in the interior, Zolatone Trunk finish and undercoated undercarriage.
Multiple subtle body mods including delete of most external stainless moldings, badging and trim.

Front subframe and suspension were blasted and either epoxy primed and top coated or powder coated and reassembled with all new Ball joints, strut rods, sway bar, all new bushings, PS conversion to Firm Feel Manual steering box with Borgeson U-Joint conversion . Upgrade to front disc brakes with Wilwood Dual master cylinder and proportioning valve. All new brake lines, park brake cable and rear brakes + drums. New rear extra leaf springs, HD hangars and frame mounts.

Engine is a Muscle Motors crate engine 505 CI stroker based on a 440 block with Aluminum heads, Comp Cams .488/.491 274/286 Cam, Edelbrock RPM Performer intake, Quick Fuel SS830 Carb, Complete MSD 6AL Ignition system with Pro BiIlet distributor and Blaster 2 Coil. Dynatech Poly Lock engine mounts. Oxygen sensor with quick detach digital gauge. Car has been dyno tuned and on the chassis dyno made 574 Ft Lbs and 407 HP to the rear wheels. Completely new fuel system including Holley high output fuel pump, upgrade to 3/8 sender and 3/8 lines tank to carb.

26" Aluminum radiator, fabricated rad shroud with dual Derale electric fans controlled by a PWM for soft sequential starts.

All wiring front to back has been replaced with either Bill & Rose Evans harnesses or custom made for the upgraded one wire self regulating 120 amp alternator.

TTI 1 7/8 inch Primary to 3 inch Ceramic coated Headers with a complete 3 inch; TTI Stainless exhaust. 727 Torqueflight with TCS converter, bolt in sprag, billet internals, B and M Cooler and Moroso deep pan.

8 3/4 Diff With 489 Pumpkin , 3.54 gears with Detroit True-Trac Sure grip, 7290 Pinion Yoke, new Alloy axles and Timken bearings. Adjustable pinion snubber. New Driveshaft.

Buckets and console Interior restored with reproduction Legendary seats and seat back panels and headliner, SMS restored door panels and arm rests, new ABE Mopars Dash pad and arm rest bases, Instrument Specialties restored dash bezels, speedometer, factory Radio and Clock delete panel. Auto Custom carpets replacement carpet. Dakota Digital detachable Oil px/Temp/Amp didgital gauge and vintage Bosch tach. Doug Lepak restored steering wheel. Rebuilt heather box assy with new heater core. Restored and colour matched dash assy, kick panels, factory console and rear shelf panel.

All stainless and chrome has been re-plated/polished by Alberta Plating and Victoria Plating.

Refurbished grille and all lenses have been replaced, Reproduction tail light lenses and complete rebuild and detailing of all lens housings.

All hardware, clamps, retainers, screws , etc are new/NOS or have replated/blasted and detailed hardware throughout the car.

I've owned this car for 20 years and starting in 2017 began the restoration in earnest. This is not a spray bomb restoration, but one that I wanted to show just as well as it does when it was first completed to 25 years from now.

It has been in a humidity controlled garage since completed.
