1966 Dodge Polara
1966 DODGE POLARA 2 DOOR HARDTOP 383 V8Selling my 1966 Dodge Polara 2-door hardtop coupe. This Dodge comes with a strong running 383 CID V8 w/ 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission. It's a smooth and straight-riding cruiser that gets a lot of looks! This car is mostly original and has escaped the usual butchery that big block Mopars often have. The exterior is the original color and the body has some flaws but, in general is solid. The car is an Arizona car originally so the underbody is all solid. No holes in floors or trunk. The interior has a newer headliner and carpet. The seats in front are decent, the back seat has become brittle and has a few rips. The car does have some changes to the motor, including an Edelbrock manifold, Holley carb, Mopar air filter, and dual exhaust. PROS: Overall good mechanical condition. Good brakes & shifts well. Recent repairs include new fuel pump, alternator, battery cables/clamps, radiator hoses, thermostat, brake repairs, oil change, newer tires, etc. Extra parts include a new starter, u-joints, and heater core. Some original parts: 4 tires and rims, A/C parts.CONS: Needs some TLC: heater, core installed, dash and dome light repairs, broken horn. It has a transmission that leaks at linkage and a small valve cover leak. A/C has been removed, I have most of the parts. One rust hole on passenger door corner about 2” in diameter that wasn’t repaired properly. Rust along rain channel is visible when opening hood and trunk, not through but heavy surface rust. Odometer unknown.Overall this is a good running car that has great potential and can provide lots of enjoyment for those cruising nights! No trades.$11,777 OBO
