So I know one of you guys are going to find the ad on CL so I'll just post it here....

Price is high because I honestly do not wanna sell her -but there is an offer on the table that I will let her go for... just wanna see if I can get more :)
So if you think my price is crazy -good -it is. Everyone always negates the "emotional value" of a car... and I'm pretty attached to this one.

$7500 -before you get too upset watch the video below.

http://lancaster.craigslist.org/cto/3658416442.html

1966 Chrysler Newport in excellent condition -you will NOT find another one in this condition! - an absolute must see!
ODO reads 25,xxx and it looks it. There is nearly NO wear on the brake and gas pedal or the seats.
383 BB 2bbl carb with a 3sp Torqueflite trans -runs great, shifts fine -engine and drivetrain are 100% stock and nearly all original.
Manual windows and door locks
Bench seats in front and rear (original and in excellent cond)
Original carpet (excellent cond)
New distributor cap, plug wires and plugs installed -starts every time.
Original keys and dealer keychain.
Original tune up diagram from Chrysler
Tires are in excellent condition.
Every button and feature on the car operates as it should -again nothing is missing. There is evidence of previous bodywork on the
car, nothing major.
Car is literally turn key and go.

From the factory there was no radio installed -I installed a Sony head unit and Rockford Fosgate speakers in the rear deck -sounds excellent. Head unit
was mounted under the dash in a bracket to avoid modifying dash... no holes were drilled and can or removed or changed easily.

Here is a walkaround video of the car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMcm2WTrd0U

It is an absolute joy to drive and turns heads everywhere I take it -breaks my heart to let her go but I simply have no where to properly store her and will be traveling extensively for work.

NO TIRE KICKERS -DO NOT WASTE MY TIME!!! CLEAN TITLE IN HAND!

Boy, that's a tough one.
Unusual color combo but it's a 4 door.
$7.5k but it has turned the clock....

I hope someone here likes it enough to beat your current offer. Nice car!
If your current offer is near what you're asking, you did VERY nicely. Congrats.

It is what it is... lol Like I said above -do not really want to sell it.
As far as the ODO being turned I'm not 100% sure it is... cannot find any info. If I was to judge just by the condition I would say it was not turned... simply due to lack of wear on anything on the inside.

Personally, since no one can disprove that it's original miles, but looks it, clean it up and sell it to the scumbag in Lakeland and tell him it's original. Wouldn't bother me a bit to lie to him.

If you're truly not sure then I'd change the ad. Why not assume the best rather than assuming the worst?

Good luck. What will replace this car?

PS: Someday you and I have will have to get together to discuss what to do about my wife's RX-8. That %$#-ing Rotary has GOT TO GO!

OLD:
ODO reads 25,xxx actual mileage is most likely 125,xxx -you would not be able to tell from looking at it.

NEW:
Under 26,000 miles and looks it.

And never sell to someone you know.....

If I do let her go the money will go towards opening my own business doing sound enforcement. It would be just enough to buy some decent speakers and gear. I'm tired of making everyone else money and struggling.

The RX-8 is tricky due to the steering -there was a few guys working on a LS swap kit -but their stuff is usually sub-par
