Hey Ya'll !
I've been here about a year gleaning info and I'm so glad to be here!
Last year I bought a 66 new yorker from the original owner. Garage kept since 88. He pulled the top end to do the broken rings and his wife got sick; you can guess the rest. He is now 93. Parts all over the garage since then I mostly found. The engine compartment was COMPLETELY covered in undercoating, thanks for the tip of brake cleaner ! but no mention of the endless scraping...arrgh.
Anyway it's a 440 that has been now pro rebuilt here in Atlanta but we do not know where the spark plug wire standoffs correctly go as it was disassembled when I got it. Can I get a picture?
I've been waiting to do a full set of pics till it was done but find I need help. It's always the smallest things...
