That's me. I also have my eyes on the 68 Plymouth fury II sedan that Stan posted. From what the guy told me the car has a factory tow package. The orig. owner bought it to tow his boat.

It looks even better at his new price. When I first spoke with him in Feb of this year he wanted 2,000. I'am hoping to buy another batch of parts cars early this next year. I have a 68 fury 2 door that I'am looking at and this one. They are both 318 cars.

Just buy the damn thing. It looks great!!

why do you part these out, looks like with some paint they would be good drivers! parts cars are usually smashed or rusted out

The parts cars that I get usually get have other issues than just skin deep. Before you judge me or what I do to earn a living for my Family you should take a few minutes to get to know people. The parts cars that I purchase are off the road for at least 10 plus years. Usually have no titles, and 4 door cars that would take 2,000-3,000 to make road worthy again. I don't go around buying perfect rust-free cars and striping them out................ Its okay with me if you want to believe that. Part car number 1 1968 Plymouth Fury III 4 Door Sedan. Car had a blown 318 and was sold to me without engine. Had rust on drivers rear door. No Title. Parts car number 2 1968 Plymouth Fury III 4 Door Sedan. Car was field sat since 1984. Had 318/904 Combo. Had rusty drivers rear quarter panel. Interior looks like it was in Arizona it's whole life. Very Rough. Parts Car Number 3 1968 Dodge Monaco 4 Door Sedan 383/727. Car sat since 2003 owner lost interest had surface rust, and rear quarter damage from accident and poor body work. Had small electrical fire that melted part of the bulkhead connector. Parts car Number 4 1967 Plymouth Vip 4 Door Hardtop. Car has very rusty rear quarter panels and some rust behind rear doors. No title. No keys.

Sometimes cars are only good for parts,I pick them up once in a while if the price is right,in the eastern US the cars have good interior and trim pieces but are usualy rusted out and to expensive to save and unsafe to drive,,here in the west we have rust free cars but our interiors are fried so we need those eastern parts and they need our rustfree sheetmetal,,if the guy comes through I'm getting a 2 door 69 fury with a bad engine and a straight rust fee body that I plan on parting out it has no interior at all,
I plan on making a few bucks and saving a car from the derby or crusher,,

Very true. I would rather ruffle the restorers feathers and part out cars then let the derby guys get a hold of them. I will never understand how a derby guy can take a clean rust-free car and smash it up.

I'm guilty of being a derby driver years ago,I built 74-78 chrysler cars they were very strong,I even raced a 2 door 67 chevelle that was arrow straight and rust free, but I stopped about 12yrs ago and have gone from destroying them to saving them,
If you have never raced in a derby then you wouldn't understand,it's an adrelen rush from he!!,you get hooked pretty quickly,I raced for over 18yrs.
