1967 Plymouth Fury VIP H Code 383 - Arizona car

This car is from Arizona and was shipped to Minnesota in 2012 - always garaged and never seen a winter. No rust or bondo! Solid body, floors, and frame. Factory big block 383 4 barrel - H code motor rated at 325 HP. 727 three speed automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, factory air conditioning car. The car does have the sure grip (posi) rear end 3.23:1 gear ratio I have the original build/broadcast sheet and sales slip.

New items - paint, interior, vinyl top, brakes, HEI ignition, gas tank, fuel tank sending unit, master cylinder, Edelbrock 1406 carburetor w/electric choke, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, BF Goodrich T/A tires, Cragar Eliminator wheels, shocks, transmission fluid/filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, fresh oil and filter change.

The Bad: The headliner is starting to sag, but I have a new one on order and it will come with the sale.

The A/C compressor is not currently installed, but it will come with the sale along with the stock 4 barrel carburetor, intake, and air cleaner.

Clear title in my name. May be interested in trades +/- cash. Trade should be in good condition with no rust issues. No motorcycles or RV's.

For 10.000 you are hard pressed to get a decent newer car from 2004 up. As far as I am concerned this is econobox price range for any classic car these days.. I feel it could be a real bargain if the condition is good.

And that 10k is an asking price. Looks like a very nice car, probably negotiable being the headliner will need intalled. If it checks out, I think that's pretty fair price with some wiggle room.

I remember being in the car with my dad, I was in my early teens. There was a 67 Fury next to us at a light, rodded up and rumbling nice. That 67 made an impression on me just by its presence.
This car "looks" like she's in very nice shape and with original paperwork

The same way back in the eighties(?) when a '63 Corvette coupe hit the 25 grand mark the first time at auction.
I went, "Whaaaat?".

$10k for a 2dr, rust free, nothing missing c-body is a good starting point.

You can't compare a Nova to a C-body, nor any collectible Chevy. Impalas eclipse us in value, as do many years of Galaxie 500s, big Pontiacs, etc. We are the lowest part of the food chain for big-car values.

I get what you guys are saying about this car in particular, but it's a VIP. No matter how much we view a VIP as elusive, and top-of-the-heap when new, in the collector world this car is like a 396 Caprice - it will not be worth what a 327 Impala SS would be. a Sport Fury with buckets/console, in it's original color, would be worth more IMHO.

I'm kinda with Stan on this one, that car doesn't wow me to 10k. AC is removed, carb/intake/aircleaner not installed, color change -- I much prefer a car preserved as original with original parts (to get my heart past 10k, anyway).
