Replacing my fuel tank and I looking for a resource for a new sending unit. 1968 Chrysler 300. Figured I’d starting by asking the Sages here before trolling the inter webs. My mechanic recommended staying clear of the spectra line if possible (he’s not a fan of spectra I guess).

Thanks in advance!

Van's carries them, but I don't recall the brand.

Vans carries Spectras.

That's pretty much the only game in town aside from having it rebuilt. If you look around, all the suppliers list these senders and they have a Spectra part number.

I bought one for my 70 300 and it checked great on the bench and in the car. Quality seemed comparable to the OEM unit I took out. I think they were the OEM supplier, but that's really only a guess on my part.

BTW, best deal I found was ordering through Amazon Prime.

Thanks for the input fellas. It indeed looks like Spectra is the only one out there making these new. Just ordered the one from Amazon. Thank you Big John!

Should be ready to post a video of the first start of the new EFI in a couple of weeks!!!
