Not Mine..

A friend of mine who lives up in Ohio sent me pictures of this one owner 69 300 for sale. I’m going to post what pictures I have and a short story that was passed to me. I just received the owners name and number today, going to give him a call this weekend and get more details of which I’ll post once I have them. From what I understand at this point, the son, Alan, of the original owner he’s putting his Dad’s car up for sale and is asking $15,000. It’s my understanding that it’s a fully documented car to include all maintenance records and even the window sticker. I was also told the car is still wearing it’s 1993 repaint of which is in great shape. The vinyl top, complete drivetrain and interior are all original to the car and untouched.
I was told the car has been very well cared for over its life, runs and drives great with no issues known at this time. As I mentioned after I speak to the owner I’ll post my findings.

Pinion seal on the differential appears to have minor leakage. Front u-joint has replacement trunnions (factory ones usually sit flush to the yoke). The transmission pan shows some leakage also. Brake booster is the lower performance Midland-Ross unit. Heater control valve is aftermarket.
Overall though this appears to be a nicely kept auto. These cars usually do not bring this asking price, so I suspect that this is a "fishing" price.

@75LandYacht -- Thank you for posting about CM23K9C278946 .

@Davea Lux -- thank you for the pointers. This 300 is a 1969, seems to have zero rust (I'd like to see high-res pics of the trunk, inside of the lower rear quarters and areas under the vinyl top that typically rust), looks great in a very nice color combo, and has full history from new. It seems to have been generally well maintained.

The price is not low, but I would not call not a "fishing price". With that color scheme, it looks like it would be a great fit at the BBTR

I like this but expected to see the orange dual snorkel TNT. Was that an optional engine upgrade?

Yes, the 300 came with both the 350 horse and 375 horse engines, 350 was more common. Standard air cleaner was a single snorkel unit.

Any dual-snorkel on a C-body will be black.
Orange would be a '73 and newer, so I don't think an orange dual-snorkel would ever be on a u-code/E86 C-body except maybe a police car. Even then, those sometimes got single-snorkel due to a large Leece-Neville alternator interfering with the passenger-side snorkel.
