I hope I don't sound too callous, but I'm not that invested in knowing his personal situation. He said he drove this car when he was younger, so I assume he's an older fellow, and I can only imagine whatever he has going on is bound up with the Reaper.

But at the end of the day, I don't know him like that, and I likely never will, as there isn't a reason too. Regardless, I wish him well and hope this sale pans out for you in the best of ways.

You're right. When someone's going through something like that, a little patience goes a long way and he knows what he has to do

As seen on FB C Body Mopar Owners group, looks like it is going resto-mod.
Yep, definitely sold
any way the non-FB crowd can see what you all referring to? eager to see what this car looks like out of the garage.

thanks in advance if anyone can can post something on this outcome.

Swiped from FB, links don’t seem to work.

thanks Samplingman. any indication what city or state this one wound up?

I tried hard to buy both the seller's cars, this one and 71 Newp (green). obviously all that didnt work out.

guess a resto mod (not my choice) is loads better than getting demoed.

FB profile says Lake Stevens Washington. As far as resto mod, I think it will be pretty mild, one post states “this car gets 30k of love 500 cid 4 wheel disc magnum force crontrole arms tti exaust new paint and upholstry and all the options fully functioning i repair airplains for a living car resto is easy for me”. I really have no idea what any of that means, but it does appear to be in a mopar lovers hands, so there is that at least. I’d like to know more about the Newport, but the seller never posted any pics. @Skinny Vinny , any info about theNewp you could share?

The original owner picked up the car at the Jefferson Ave Plant and drove it home. Ordered new at Tom Price in Spokane, WA. Only option I see missing is cruise.

and vent windows.
A really desirable car though.

I'm not sure what to think of that. Hope he's a better fixer than speller.
Aircraft repairs are usually structured by the FAA, but I don't think they did a writeup on the AutoTemp.

Why the F-ing hell would you want to modify a 5000 lb car with a 500 in engine and suspension mods?!?! Those cars have enough power to move past most of the cars on the road today and float like a big puffy cloud! Why ruin that? I get it, someone else’s car now but come on! And where does the $30k come from? He didn’t list $30k worth of parts! Unless he’s paying someone $20k to do the body and paint. Sorry if I sound old and crotchety but that beauty should be left alone. Only an opinion.
