1969 Imperial progress thread

I definitely do NOT have that ;) So, yes, the pictures do help!
25,000!
I can't keep 25-hundred properly sorted into folders and searchable.
Do you you an image app that does everything? I've tried dozens and none of them are suitable to my needs.

Actually over 27,500 ;)

I mainly use ACDsee for sorting and tagging them. I don't know if that's THE go to programm for that but I'm using it for decades and are familiar with it.

We use Adobe Bridge at work, that's pretty good as well, but mainly when you use the entire Adobe program range. And that's expensive!

I have been using ACDSee for decades as well, I find it easiest to save everything by date and label the folder to reflect the project/event
c:\Pictures\2022\2022-04-06 - Polara - AC Box
c:\Pictures\2022\2022-03-01 - Oregon Trip
Picture files are also renamed to reflect this as well

ACDSee can rename files in bulk.

I find it much easier finding pictures this way.

I'm doing pretty much that as a basic order, too. I'm using Windows Explorer for the folder structure, but everything else is done with ACDsee. Filenames are usually just the date, things like "AC Box" or "Imperial" are in the preferences as Tags.
The benefit is, that you can search more precisely since you can save as many tags in the picture preferences as you want.

So for example, if you have 3 different photos of the engine bay in which you can see the brake master cylinder from different angles, in 3 different folders, but all are tagged "Master Cylinder" you will find them all when searching for "master cylinder".
It's a lot of work to Tag all photos and I'm far away from having them all tagged, but that's a nice work I'm doing while watching a movie or something like that.

It took me a while because my work hours and my painters business house did not comply very good... BUT the underside of the body is finally completely sealed with seam sealer!
That was a lot of work..! And not particularly fun...

Next step is another layer of primer, then stone chip protection and then, finally the M9 paint.

Fabulous! I have been waiting for your next update and you have been BUSY and the results are stunning! Well done!

While working on this part, mmy painter finished the prep on the doors and fenders.

He had a lot to do to get the passenger side door right since is was pretty rough due to an accident long time ago.
My body man did his best to straighten it but there is still a lot more filler on it compared to all the other parts.

But now they are ready for the final fitment check and then the M9 paint!

Fun fact:
Due to my meticulous masking, there is not "much" sealer in the car! Only 4 300g cartridges. That's ~42 oz. ;)
