Seen at the Car Corral today at the Chrysler Nationals. 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible, very clean EF9, the seller is asking $21,900.

Notice everyone walking by,,, smiling and laughing.....
At 21+ for a green car with about no options and incorrect carb...
I don't see it happening..... But that just me.....

.

CM27T0C263142 is a rare EF9 300 'vert, is said to be rust-free, and the interior is in great shape. The paint is not, though.

Looks like a decent car from these pics, but it doesn't have enough sparkle for a $22k asking price. The apparent originality is nice, but for the price should be shinier and have some underhood detailing already done.

How the hell you do you know there's a incorrect carb on it ?? Did I miss something or can you see it from the pic's
From this pic...

The fuel line runs to the right rear of the carb. (Should actually be a steel line). The correct Holley carb has the fuel inlet in the left front.

Probably has an Edlebrock AFB on it.

Correct type Holley carb. Fuel inlet on left (driver) side, vent line on right.

Carter/Edlebrock AVS. Fuel inlet on right rear (passenger) side.

I wondered how you knew that also, Big_John. I never consider that Holley an option, so missed the clue.
Did you notice what appears to be a 1971 VC breather with the open nipple?

Car priced this high shoudl have an intact washer bottle, even if it's aftermarket - it's a sign of love and maintenance.

As @Big_John noted...
Additionally, the open nipple should have line from it to top/center of carb.....
But now there is a fuel line in the way....
My opinion, but I don't see 21Gs there... Just not the most desirable options/combo ....
That and lack of "attention"...
