1970 Dodge Monaco Coupe - C$2,565 - Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada

FB Description

1970 Dodge Monaco, 2dr hardtop. Needs full restoration but has great potential. NO MOTOR or TRANS. To many projects . Had a gentleman come look and he found some rust in the K Frame, don’t want any surprises, it needs a new K frame.

Dang! Why Canada? id love to have it but that’s too much of a haul right now.

I deserves to be saved. But as the drivetrain is already lost, and the vendor says it needs a new stub frame, it does not seem likely.

Love it. Ideal car for putting in a later LA engine.

Finding the correct steering wheel won’t be fun, but while one keeps looking a nice woodgrain wheel would work. Not sure if JustDashes would repop the cracked orange dash pad, but it’d be worth trying.

It sure appears to have very little rust.
Very surprising that the stub frame is rotted but none of the lower body panels show large rust holes.
I would think there is a good chance that the rust on the heavy metal would only be superficial.
Takes a good lookin to know.
Nice car !!

notice that it has 70 Fury upholstery and door panels - in 1970 full size Canadian Dodges still used Plymouth interiors with Dodge dashes

Seems the engine was a donor to an E body. The owner knows where the original engine is and it's not likely to be returned. Was a school teachers car from the owners youth. No US title, otherwise would be in the shop now. Hope someone saves this beauty.

Would it be hard to get a U.S. title? Kim

I don’t think u would have any problem getting it across the border. I’ll of sale and maybe a Leon check and a stolen car check would do it. There are members here that can give some insight into aquiring it. Kim

whats the fuss about not having a US title ? i dont see where it says there no canadian title/registration....... as long as you've got that and a bill of sale then its no prob getting it across the border. and then you get the US title once its in the states.

anyway, the listing is now gone
