Minneapolis, MN CL ad
1970 383 newport

1970 383 newport - $900 (Ramsey)

"Have a 1970 Newport, has a 383 engine, would run with little effort, ran when parked. I believe the Trans is bad. Belonged to my parents then it kinda ended up in my lap and I have no interest in it. Good project car or a good engine for your current project!

Also have two 1966 newports, both 383, one good clean, very little rust, running, drivable. Other is parts car everything is good but I think the engine is bad. $1,400 for the pair of 66's."

I've seen these cars in person. Last year he has one of the Newports out for $1500. One is pretty decent runs and drives. The other. Is in horrible shape. The 70 has a 383 but is rusty as well. If I remember right the interior wasn't in very good shape either. I offered him 3k on these three and a 62 new Yorker that was very rusty. He turned me down. That was fall of 2015. Been sitting there since.

these were some pictures I took of the parts 66 Newport. Thing was really rusty. So was the 62! Not sure if that's still sitting there.
