Its a little sun baked, but if it lived its life away from the coast and didn't get parked on dirt it could be fairly solid underneath. Worth asking or looking if its what you want.

Technically they aren't correct. Those are part of the 70-71 Newport "custom" package, and convertibles could not be had in "custom". The original all plastic ones on my 70 Newport convertible were pretty rough and I had a good extra set of customs around so I put them on and I think they look great. I look forward to the day someone calls me on that one.
